Mississippi based father and daughter team David Walker and Robin Walker are the creators of The Max Letters. David is a retired public school teacher, author, and creative education consultant, known for his interactive classroom and summer adventures for middle grade students such as missions to Mars, exploring the deep sea, international detective academy, and Arthur’s school for chivalry at Camelot.

When Robin, a digital marketer, learned her dad was finally ready to “go public” with the Max stories that had long enchanted friends and family, that he had always held privately while publishing books across other genres, she convinced him to take a chance on a wild idea that involved transforming his treasured story and illustrations into something less like a book, and more like an experience. The Max Letters experience was born. We couldn't be more thrilled with how far we've come today, and thank all of our happy readers for supporting this fun, beloved project.
